Steppe studio is a nomadic yurt – ‘ger’ retreat for artists and creative people to work and recharge from their day-to-day living. It was inspired by my childhood summer stays in the countryside of Mongolia with my grandmother.
Country living could be pretty basic and monotone, but offers one solitude in fresh air which has unfortunately become inaccessible to most of us in the modern world.
So, as a 501(c)(3) arts non-profit organization, we were inspired to meet that need and are in the process of opening a ger studio in rural Mongolia. With that, we would welcome artists from every corner of the world including locals.
